What should I know before my first lesson
Ø Please arrive promptly § Approximately 10 minutes before your lesson time to be sure we can start class promptly § Lessons will begin at the stated time and late arrivals will forfeit ride time. § If running late please call as soon as possible to notify instructor. § If more than 10 minutes late for your lesson, you are considered a "no-show" and will not be reimbursed for the lesson. Ø In case of cancellation… § If you must cancel your lesson, 12-hour notice is required in order not to be charged. (ie. Illness, family emergency, etc.) § At the discretion of instructor, make up lessons can be scheduled (if lesson schedule permits) at the time of cancellation and must be made up within that week or you will be credited for the next month. § In the case of inclement weather, instructor will make a phone call as soon as possible as to whether lessons are being held or not. Make-up lessons can be scheduled if schedule permits. Ø Please dress appropriately § Long pants, like jeans or stretch pants, are required for riding § Pair of sturdy, heeled boots are needed. Sneakers or tennis shoes are not allowed. *Please see me for recommendations for boots if interested. § Helmets are provided. If you have your own, it must be ASTM/SEI approved and fit properly. Ø Lesson Rates § Semi-private: $35/ lesson (purchased in one-month blocks) § Monthly Payment for all lessons is due on the last lesson of the prior month. (ie. you pay for September lessons the last week in August.) § Invoices are emailed out at the end of the month to notify you how much you owe as well as any credits, makeup lessons, etc. Ø Parental Supervision § Parents must stay with child for the duration of the lesson.ď€ All other children 12 and under must be closely supervised by an adult at all times for the safety of the riders, horses, and children.
